Article in the NET magazine 3/2002 "Migration with CAPI, new alternatives for Voice over IP"

The magazine for communication management NET gave its attention to the ikon VoIP-CAPI too.

"Currently nobody can tell exactly when the VoIP-technology will generally be accepted, but the customers interest is growing steadily. Because of the lack of the necessary VoIP-compliant products customers often take conventional CAPI based ISDN products alternatively. By relying on the ikon VoIP-CAPI vendors of software applications get the possibility to place VoIP-compliant software on the market"

The article shows the technical background of the ikon VoIP-CAPI based on the common features and the differences of ISDN and H.323. Die further development of the VoIP-CAPI integrating SIP is shown too.
