Article in the LanLine magazine 6/2002 "Change over to Fax and Voice over IP"

In the current issue the LanLine magazine puts its main focus to the subject of messaging. A good possibility for making first tests with the VoIP-CAPI in cooperation with the Ferrifax-Serverpro software from Ferrari Electronic GmbH.

The test showed that "the fax receiving could be established in all of the intercommunication scenarios tested, even with fax documents up to 12 pages." It’s true so that the VoIP-CAPI version tested by LanLine caused problems in sending faxes consisting of multiple pages. This bug has already been fixed in the new Beta version. Sending and Receiving of faxes with multiple pages is now guaranteed.

As result of the test LaneLine editor Helmut Pfeiler recorded "In total our impressions of the test showed that ikon has already managed to get over the essential problems connected with the VoIP-CAPI... It is shown to the user that even in the field of Unified Messaging the migration to Fax and Voice over IP has become realistic.
