After the successfull Introduction of the VoIP-CAPI Linux variant now Version 3.0 with plainly increased Functionality is available.
VoIP-CAPI acts like a virtual ISDN Card and allows the instant Integration of CAPI based Applications in Networks supporting Voice and Fax over IP (VoIP/FoIP).
With the Integration of the new innovaphone VoIP Stack now the VoIP Protocol SIP is also supported besides H.323. Additionally the Interworking with ISDN Boards and DECT Base Stations was also integrated. Based on this a CAPI Application is able to easily control DECT and ISDN Connections besides the VoIP Connections and may e.g. easily interconnect VoIP, DECT and ISDN Channels. For the Support of DECT Voice Channels the Soft Codec for G.726 was also integrated in VoIP-CAPI.
